Tuesday/Wednesday - TESTING - SAT on Tuesday; ACT WorkKeys on Wednesday.

Thursday/Friday- viewing The Great Gatsby with Leonardo DiCaprio.

Friday is a half day - 11:00 am dismissal

Monday/Friday - Work on Createspace covers, author bios, uploading draft.

English 11 week of March 27

Monday - SAT information; Essay returned - chart growth - write reflection paragraph and submit Argumentative Analysis student growth chart to Google Classroom.
8th hour - College Commitment card

Tuesday/Wednesday - Part A and B must be done of college research before class!!! Go over Part C of college research. College commitment card.

Thursday/Friday (1/2 days) - Khan Academy and reflection on growth.

Creative Writing week of March 27

Monday - Peer editing - editing corrections

Wednesday - editing wrap-up; Work on cover. Submit draft to Luttke

Friday - Wrap up editing; Work on cover

Friday is a half day - we will meet for 45 minutes from 9:25 - 10:10

Monday - SAT Essay video; Revision of paragraph for writing or analysis focus (8th hour - essay returned; chart growth; Collegeboard account). Homework: Additional SAT essay video (9 min).

Tuesday/Wednesday - Timed Essay final practice  - recorded in grade book.(8th hour - area of improvement; Khan Academy - record practices and scores)

Thursday/Friday - Essay returned; chart growth - write reflection and submit; Khan Academy - record practices and scores (8th hour - Timed Essay final practice)

DID YOU MISS AN ESSAY - Tuesday after school at 2:45 there will be an opportunity to make-up the writing in Ms. Luttke's room.

Wednesday/Friday - self-editing and feedback on sample page

English 11 week of March 6

Monday - Work on element of focus for Persuasive analysis - Structure of Rhetoric or Reverse Outlining.

Tuesday/Wednesday - "Hospital" article - read with reading strategy and stance and word choice. Answer questions on "Hospital"

Thursday/Friday - Review focus area from first essay practice. Timed essay writing "Hospital".
