Thrusday/Friday - What is Satire - feedback; 2nd look at what is satire; group discussion - tone


6th hour:

Monday - wrap up Gatsby essay

Wednesday - Blast - First Impressions; First read - Theme for English B - Thinking questions 1-3

Friday - Group discussion - Tone; identify writing on tone from pleasure reading book (summative score); Theme from English B - 2nd reading - choose focus question to develop into essay (summative score)

8th hour:

Monday - submit rough draft of veteran essay for feedback

Wednesday - feedback and revisions of veteran essay

Friday - veteran essay due
