Tuesday/Wednesday - Reading Strategy notes on Text Patterns. Look at textbook - look at pleasure reading book - look at Declaration of Independence and identify the patterns. How will this help you?

Looking back on the discussions, research, essay writing, and presentation during this unit, reflect on a strength and weakness of yours. How will you use the strength in the next unit and how will you improve your weakness?


Tuesday/Wednesday - Begin watching The Patriot. If you do not wish your student to view this movie, feel free to email me at aluttke@homeoftheshamrocks.org. I will have an alternative assignment for them in the library.

Tuesday - Character sketch - divide class half with Elisha creating a character, half with me. Flip a coin for protagonist/antagonist.
