Monday - No School MLK day

Tuesday/Wednesday - Khan Academy practice - area of PSAT weakness. Semicolons and Modifiers - notes and practice on Google Classroom.

Thursday/Friday - Reading Strategies Chart in Google Classroom - choose 3 strategies that you will commit to using in second semester.

Next week are high school exams, for English 11

You may use your notebook and any papers on the exam

Exam will include

• 3 Reading passages - SAT type (SchoolNet)
• Grammar - modifiers, semicolons, hyphens/dashes (SchoolNet)
• Post-Unit survey Reading Strategies
• Speed reading test with reflection on 1st semester reading, a plan for 2nd semester, and a new genre to try.
• Updating Goodreads - currently reading book and a book you want to read in the new genre
