Tuesday/Wednesday - Khan Academy practice - 30 minutes.Learning Target - chart visualizing. Langston Hughes poem - Democracy. Group discussion and poetry analysis chart. Homework - Google Classroom where have you used the reading strategies cover the answer and avoiding extremes?

Thursday/Friday - Final practice of reading strategies with SAT type reading tests. Group discussion - plans for preferred strategies. Self and Peer evaluation for Speaking and Listening - discussions in groups since November.

Thursday/Friday - Poem by Walt Whitman - "For you o Democracy". Practice reading strategies - visualizing and skimming; poem analysis in Google classroom of tone, theme, human rights elements, and central idea.
